TODAY IN SUNDAY SCHOOL: “God Carries Elijah to Heaven in a Whirlwind” (2 Kings 2:1-14). Discuss how God prepared Elijah’s successor, Elisha, for the tasks that lay ahead. Parents might ask, “What gift did Elisha ask God for? How does God prepare us for the tasks He wants us to do?”

RADIO MINISTRY CHANGED: Our Sunday morning, “Music and a Message” will be aired ONLY on 1080 AM WKJK at 9:30 AM each Sunday morning.

MEN’S MINISTRY BREAKFAST:  July 14, from 8 – 9:30 AM.  With the Bible Study “Hope Under Construction: Insights Into the Life of Nehemiah”. 

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY: We have a financial commitment of $8,000; as well as, a strong commitment of prayers and physical laborers to meet. Please sign up on the church bulletin board on days you can assist. July 28th is the next Saturday for Our Savior workers, so if you can help please sign up on the bulletin board in the church lobby. 

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: Tell the truth! Learn the truth about Jesus at Quest for Truth VBS on July 16-20. THAT’S NEXT WEEK! Come on our adventure and uncover the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, HOW, and WHY truths about Jesus. Fill out the registration form in this bulletin and return it to the box located in the Welcome Center.

YOUTH SERVICE PROJECT FOR ORLANDO: You can help!  Gathering participants have been asked to help support local, national, & global mission projects that serve God's people in need. We are collecting gently used eyeglasses, any color, shape design and prescription. We will take them all! Also, hometown ink pens. Does your business have pens with 'Louisville' imprinted on them? We will take them, too! Please place these items in the box located in the church lobby by July 22nd. Thank you for your support.

CAMP CEDARBROOK VESPERS: Sunday Evening Devotions are at 6 PM. Tonight’s speaker is Pastor Dan Guagenti of Holy Cross.  Next week’s speaker will be Pastor Fisher of Trinity. The camp is located just SE of the Lanesville, IN interchange off of I-64. In case of rain, the devotions will be held indoors.

TEACHING SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:  A sign up sheet will be outside the Music Room with dates needed. Three levels of classes are offered. Lessons are provided. Please consider volunteering.

YOUTH FUNDRAISING FOR ORLANDO: Your opportunity to support us!  We are almost there!  We need $18,000 to attend the National Youth Gathering in July.  Please support our Youth at the Bake Sale Table each Sunday morning. 

FREE:  Copies of the 2001 Reformation Service featuring Oswald Hoffmann on VHS.  The tapes are located in the church lobby.  There are 60 copies available to members of Our Savior.  They were found during recent cleaning.

PRESCHOOL CHILDCARE STUDENTS NEEDED: Beginning with the 2007-2008 school year. We will be open Monday–Friday 7 AM – 6 PM. If you know anyone who is interested in this new preschool program for three and four year olds, please have them contact the school office, 426-0864 as soon as possible.

PRISON MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY: The Kentuckiana Zone LWML will be going to Kentuckiana Correctional Institution for Women on Saturday, July 14th at 5 PM for Craft Night at KCIW. We need 10 workers to implement the craft-no experience necessary.  This is a unique ministry opportunity. MEN’S SOFTBALL TEAM GAME:  This week our Men’s Softball Team plays Monday night at 8:30 PM at Watkins Memorial Church, 9800 Westport Road.  To find out if it has been rained out call 425-2200.
