ANNOUNCEMENTS

FOOD PANTRY: There is an urgent need for donations to the EACM’S Food Pantry. Children are home for the summer and creating the need to provide additional meals.  If you can help out, please drop off non-perishable food items in the designated box in the church lobby. Our Savior has been an example to others for caring for the least. Let us continue to answer God’s call to care for our fellow man and serve God and others. DINING OUT TOGETHER (DOT): Meets on June 20, at Los Aztecas on Herr Lane at 6 PM.  Any questions contact Karen Osborne, 243-1765.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL:  VBS at Our Savior will be July 28 - August 1. MEAL FOR BACKSIDE WORKERS: Thanks to all who helped with the meal. 

AUTISM FESTIVAL: The local Thrivent Chapter is co-sponsoring this Autism Festival at the Home of the Innocents, on June 21, from 2-5 PM. There is a critical need for VOLUNTEERS from 1:30 – 5:30 PM to help set-up and clean-up as well as assist with the various booths. GOLDEN OLDIES:  Meet at church, June 18, at 11 AM to carpool for buffet lunch at the Cardinal Club. Maps are on the sign up board.  Sign up or call Dorothy Groemling by TODAY, for reservations. 

EACM’S BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT:  School supplies are needed along with gently used or new school uniforms. Volunteers are needed to prepare the bags on July 30 and 31.  Please drop off any school supplies in the designated church box by July 20.  Supplies that are needed are on flyers in the church lobby. 

COLLEGE STUDENTS:  Are you college-aged and wondering where the other Lutheran college students are?  Join us at the 6:15 PM Louisville Bats game on Saturday, June 21!  We'll meet at 5 PM at church to carpool and remember to   bring some money for the $6 ticket, parking fees and Food.  If you have any questions, contact Leah Robison, 502-216-2633 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. DISTRICT PICNIC: The picnic is planned for June 28, at Camp Cedarbrook.  The church office will supply additional information when it is available.

HANDBELL CONCERT: The Allegro Bells from Trinity Lutheran Church in Roselle, IL will be performing in concert here at Our Savior on Friday, July 11, at 7 PM. WEEKLY MOM/CHILDREN PLAY GROUP & PICNIC: Moms with children (all ages) are invited to join in Christian fellowship and brief prayer and fun every Wednesday, beginning June 18, at 10:30 AM. We will meet at Hounz Lane Park, located at 2300 Hounz Lane, near Hurstbourne Lane and across from the entrance to EP Tom Sawyer Park.  Remember to pack your lunch.  If you have questions, please contact Amy Mittlestat, 269-275-3479. VESPERS SERVICE AT CAMP CEDARBROOK: Sunday Vespers at Camp Cedarbrook at 6 PM during the summer. Camp Cedarbrook is located just SE of the Lanesville, IN interchange off of I-64. In case of rain, the devotions will be held indoors.

HELPING FLOOD VICTIMS IN INDIANA:  Many church workers and members of our sister congregations in Columbus, Seymour, and other areas, have damage from the recent flooding.  You may send financial support to the District Office and note on the check Indiana Flood Relief. Relief Workers are needed to assist with gutting the damage and repairing homes.  Is God calling to help?
