JANUARY FOOD PANTRY COLLECTIONS: The pantry collection for this month will be going to Redeemer’s Food Pantry, our sister congregation.

NEW TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY BEGINS: This Tuesday, January 26 at 10:15 AM, we will begin an in-depth study of the book of ROMANS. If you are free to attend a Bible study we invite you to join us. All ages are welcomed! We have an enjoyable, exciting time digging into what God has to say to us.

ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS:  Additional Entertainment Books are available in the church office for $20/book.  Make checks payable to LWML.

OSLS AUCTION:  The annual TASTE OF OUR SAVIOR Auction is scheduled for March 6. Remember to save this date! We have some restaurants confirmed…but donations have been hard to come by. If you or someone you know is able to donate an item for the auction, please contact Tracy Hannon.

USHERS NEEDED:  Ushers are needed in the 11 AM service if you would be willing to serve once a month in this capacity, please contact the church office.  This is a great opportunity for a family to serve together.

TRIVIA NIGHT: Bring your team of 8-10 on Saturday, January 30 at 7 PM. Individuals and partial teams will be matched up that night so everyone can participate. The cost is $10/person. Snacks and beverages will be provided and you are welcome to bring some to share. Childcare will be provided, please sign up on the church bulletin board or call David Robison, 938-4766. Proceeds will go toward the Senior High National Gathering this summer.

WIDOW’S GROUP LUNCH OUT: We will meet on February 5, at 12:30 PM, at Sesame Chinese Restaurant on the corner of Shelbyville Road and Hurstbourne Lane.

CAMP LAKEVIEW: Your children experience Christian growth while riding horses, canoeing, swimming, doing arts & crafts and playing games. Registration materials for its summer 2010 season are available now at the school or church office.  

URGENT NEEDS AT EASTERN AREA COMMUNITY MINISTRIES (EACM): Toilet paper, bath soap, tooth paste, dish and laundry detergent, Kleenex, shampoo, deodorant for men and women. Also canned meat products.  Place in box marked for EACM, in the Fellowship Hall.
WIDOW’S CHRIST CARE: Led by Emily Hayes will meet the first Friday of the month beginning February 5, at 10:30 AM.

SUPER BOWL SUB SANDWICHES: Watch your narthex mailboxes for Super Bowl Sub Sandwich Order forms, which will be available from January 24 through February 7, so you can order your custom-made sandwich and chips.  The meals will be ready for pick-up on Sunday, February 7. There will also be subs available for sale on the day of the game. This fund-raiser is supporting the Youth in attending the National Youth Gathering this summer.  

BLANKET DAYS:  Continues this week, if you are able to assist in the sewing of blankets here at church or at your home, please contact Carolyn Nowatka, the need is even greater due to the devastation in Haiti.  Join others on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week, from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and bring your lunch.
