MOTHER’S DAY ROSES FOR SALE TODAY! Long stemmed roses will be available to purchase at $2.00 a stem or $20.00 a dozen TODAY. Proceeds will benefit the Pregnancy Resource Center. BACKSIDE MINISTRY: Evangelism is hosting dinner at the Backside of Churchill Downs THIS Monday, May 17. Please contact Karen Osborne at 243-1765 if you can help with food or serving. ADULT BIBLE STUDY: Faith Aflame: 360 Degrees Bible Study is meeting weekly in the gym during the Sunday School hour, 10:00-10:45am. CHRISTCARE PICNIC: EVERYONE is invited (not just ChristCare members) to attend a potluck picnic to celebrate the ministry of ChristCare on Sunday, May 23, beginning at 4:00pm, at Robinson Park in Lyndon. LOUISVILLE BACH SOCIETY COMPETITION CONCERT: The top three finalists in The Louisville Bach Society Gerhard Herz Young Artists Competition in Vocal Performance will sing in a public concert at Concordia Lutheran Church (1127 E. Broadway), NEXT Saturday, May 15 at 7:30 PM. After the performance, the final places will be determined and prizes awarded. Everyone is invited to attend. Our group grew significantly last year with good times had by all. It’s great to show appreciation to restaurants that supported the Taste.
