WELCOME RECEPTION: After late service today we will have a brief reception in the fellowship hall to welcome our new DCE intern, Bethany Kuhnle. CAR WASH: TODAY the Jr. and Sr. Youth will be holding a car wash during late service. A free will offering will be taken to benefit the youth who are attending the National Youth Gathering in July. Keys will be collected prior to late service and your car returned shinny and like new! VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: Mark your calendars NOW! Our Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 12-16. Registration forms are available in the church and school offices. VBS is for 3-year-olds through completed 5th grade. Students in grades 6 and up and adult volunteers are needed for VBS! Please contact Tracy Hannon at 423-7216 if you can help out in any way. HABITAT/THRIVENT BUILDS: Please sign up to help out at the Habitat/Thrivant Builds house on Saturday, July 24th. The sign up sheet is on the bulletin board outside the church office. We will again be helping with the meal that day so look for that sheet also. If you have any questions please contact Sue Wolter at 243-4187. CHILDREN’S SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL: continues this week. We will be needing more summer teachers to commit to 1 or 2 Sundays this summer. Sign ups are on the bulletin board outside the church office. Please speak to Liz Nickel with any questions. MARTIN LUTHER REUNION: For all who went to Martin Luther School, come get reacquainted with old classmates. Get in touch with all of your old friends that you have kept up with and invite them. This Sunday’s service will be conducted by Dan Guagenti. USED FURNITURE NEEDED: We would like to secure donations of gently used furniture for our DCE intern, Bethany. She will be furnishing a one-bedroom apartment. She will already have a bed. If you have anything to donate, please contact Paul Nickel at 419-2214. Thank you! BACK 2 SCHOOL: We will be collecting items from now until July 25th ( see bulletin insert). Look for the poster and drop off area in the church lobby. INSTALLATION OF VICAR: On July 11th Tim Faile will be inducted as vicar to Resurrection at the 10 A.M. service at Concordia Lutheran Church and then he will be installed at Resurrection at a special 1 P.M. service. All are invited to attend. Concordia is in the process of collecting non-perishables and canned goods for the Faile family of eight.
