HABITAT/THRIVENT BUILDS: Please sign up to help out at the Habitat/Thrivant Builds house on Saturday, July 24th. The sign up sheet is on the bulletin board outside the church office. We will again be helping with the meal that day so look for that sheet also. If you have any questions please contact Sue Wolter at 243-4187 CHILDREN’S SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL continues this week. We will be needing more summer teachers to commit to 1 or 2 Sundays this summer. Sign ups are on the bulletin board outside the church office. Please speak to Liz Nickel with any questions. MARTIN LUTHER REUNION: For all who went to Martin Luther School. Come get reacquainted with old classmates. Get in touch with all of your old friends that you have kept up with and invite them. When: TODAY from 2-5pm. Where: Our Savior Lutheran School Gym. CAMP CEDARBROOK: Services are on Sunday evening at 6:00. This Sunday’s service will be conducted by Chuck Fischer. JOYFUL CELEBRATION: Join Dorothy Krause and her family to celebrate her 90th birthday. When; TODAY 4-6 PM: Where; Forum at Brookside [on Shelbyville Road]. NO GIFTS PLEASE, just greetings, reminiscences or perhaps even a poem. BACK 2 SCHOOL: We will be collecting items from now until July 25th ( see bulletin insert). PORTALS OF PRAYER: The new July-September 2010 edition is now available. They are on the table by the front door. If there are none there please stop in the church office to pick one up. SENIOR YOUTH GROUP: Would like to extend a very special THANK YOU to the entire congregation for your prayers and financial support over the last two years in our endeavor to attend the LCMS national Youth Convention 2010. We cannot wait to tell you all about the trip. DINING OUT TOGETHER: Due to summer schedules, DOT will resume in September. If there is a special place you would like to try, please let me know. Learn about next year's Bible Studies at Rally Day. Fellowship with others at the church picnic. See what God is doing at the Ministry Fair. And worship God during the Praise Team Jam Session. These events will be happening before, between, and after the worship services. See the August newsletter or church website for more information GRACE LUTHERAN is sponsoring a bus trip on September 24-27 to Pastor Kischnick home stomping grounds. If you feel you might be interested in a trip to Frankenmuth, Michigan’s “Little Bavaria” please pick up the information from the table by the front door. LOOKING FOR SOMETHING NEW AND EXCITING?! Consider hosting a high school foreign exchange student next school year for a semester – or even the entire school year. You may choose to host a 15-18 year-old from 49 different countries. There is no fee for the program. You simply provide room, board and transportation. Students will come with insurance and spending money.
