Junior High Youth

The Junior Youth program at OSLC is for youth in grades 6 - 8.  The program exists to enrich the youth's spiritul growth while enjoying the fellowship of friends.

The Jr. Youth meet the first Sunday of each month after the late service.  At each meeting youth enjoy a meal together, participate in a service project, and grown in their relationship with Christ.

Youth are encouraged to be a part of the youth ministry and explore opportunities for leadership and service.  Parents can become involved by assiting at the monthly meetings.

Here are just a few examples of service projects and activities in which the youth have participated.

Service Projects:

  • Collect food items for local pantry
  • Prepare Valentine treats for shut ins
  • Stuff Easter Eggs for Redeemer After School Care Program
  • Hide Easter Eggs OSLC Easter Egg Hunt
  • Monthly ushering for t OSLC late service 

Jr. Youth Activities:

  • Haunted Corn Maze
  • All Circuit Lock In
